Can you see them there, in the distance?
Faster than you can blink, running to the brink
They're the tan colored felines adorn in an ebony pattern in a frightening effect
Like a disco ball reflecting the darkness onto the light
Ferocious to those who show weakness, ready to pounce in an instant
Predator or prey, it doesn't matter, all are a potential meals
Don't be fooled by the black streaks on their faces
It's just alligator tears for those who are easily lulled out of their vigilance
Even if they are kind, they're just buying their time
They're only lenient towards their own kind
So don't call them cats, because you can't take them home
Let the cheetahs roam in the wild, and never visit alone
