 Lavender cake, my crowd? Anyone? It might be good. I heard people are putting lavender in food now. Just thought I'd offer some before today's stories.

 Major update! The lawn mower is fixed.  I finally installed the new spark plug, but it still wasn't starting. I was ready to give up when one of my neighbors passes by and offers to fix it. Turns out, he's been fixing small motors for years. He taught me about this release valve for when old fuel is gunking up the engine works. With one easy fix, he was able to bring it back to life with ease! I decided to make him and his family a chocolate cake for his troubles. Family tradition, apparently.  

 It's official. I'm working on a project, and I plan to finish it and release it here on DA, assuming there is just enough wiggle room in the rules to allow it. I'm working on 12 different vectors, and so far I've only got about 3 done. But it's moving much faster than I thought! I don't want to set a deadline, but maybe as I get closer to the project's completion, I can do something special to commemorate it. I will say this, though. It'll be the first Tokusatsu-related thing I've ever posted on here.

 I got some new red pants recently! The last pair I bought on eBay did not fit, despite the fact that I was VERY careful about getting the right size. But that's okay! A new store recently opened up in town, and the prices are great! Not only that, but they do have some nice things too. I went in looking for either an orange shirt (because my last orange t-shirt has finally given out), or a better set of red pants. Not only did I find the pants I was looking for, but they were even cheaper than the price I paid for them on eBay! I think I'll be going back to Burlington more often if that's the price I can expect to pay for pants. Still need to find an orange shirt in my style though... Funny thing is, while I can't find a t-shirt that I like on eBay, I am finding some good polos. Now I'm conflicted...
  
 There's been a lot of Tokusatsu news recently. I want to exposit on it, which is what I was planning for my future podcast that I've been getting further and further away from... Part of it has been me waiting on a new computer. The other part is other obligations have been getting in the way. Job, Sonic blog, family... Hopefully, things will change for the better some day soon.

 So, anyone watch MLP? It was a pretty good episode! Not one I expected them to use good old Discord for, but it still worked out. The only thing that kind of made me uncomfortable was seeing the CMC interested in romance. Twilight I can understand. Any of the mane six, I'd believe. But please don't make love stories for the underage characters... The nod to Button Mash was a nice touch, though. And it was cool we somehow managed to fit two parallel stories out of it! But please, just let kids be kids.  
 
 I guess I broke everyone with my last journal, considering no one replied. I think it was the Steven Universe comment. Either no one is up to date yet or my comment scared everyone off. But I'm still livid about that episode, and for once I'm on pins and needles waiting for the next one. Everything about the show has changed because of this one episode! A mystery has been solved, opening the door for even more mysteries. And while this is going to mean huge changes for the gems, I want to know what Steven will do. I could see so many possibilities! I could see him trying to do damage control, needing consoling himself, I could see him finally fixing every mess Rose left behind, I could even see him quitting the Crystal Gems to go solo. I seriously cannot predict what will happen next! I feel as helpless as when Garnet's future sight stopped working.

 Speaking of cartoons; strap yourselves in folks. The Teen Titans Go! influence has taken another victim. The upcoming comedy cartoon for next year is: Thundercats Roar. Wow, it even has a similar naming scheme. Why are shows like this becoming a main focus instead of bonus, supplemental material for the GOOD stuff?

 Also, apparently, Kool-Aid and milk don't mix well. Hilarious!

This is an example of what I was talking about. Apparently this is a real thing; the Power Rangers and Street Fighter are going to have a video game crossover thanks to Hasbro's influence. Cannot say I saw this happening. It also makes this interesting to me. I know Street Fighter games are also released in Japan, so who will voice the Rangers? New VA's or Sentai alumni? And who will voice the Rangers in the domestic release; the original actors or sound-alike voice actors?
